Ready to Apply? Here's how

So, you're ready to apply for an HE course?
Here's some advice on the best next steps to take.

Full Time Courses
  • If you are choosing a course from one of the local providers on this site, it's a good idea to contact them directly initially.
  • Most full-time higher education course applications are processed by the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). You can apply, and track your application's progress, online at www.ucas.com - and you can do this at The Learning Shop with assistance from a specialist adviser if you wish.
  • To apply for nursing and midwifery courses please contact NMAS on 01242 544949 or visit www.nmas.ac.uk
  • For Access courses, apply direct to the college of your choice.
Part-Time Courses

If you are interested in a part-time course shown in this guide, please apply direct to the college or university you are interested in. We have given contact details at the end of each college description in this booklet, and also on the back page.
