City College is one of the biggest providers of higher education in
the area, with a good range of Access, HNC/D, Foundation Degree
and postgraduate programmes on offer as well as degrees.
This year we have completely revised and updated all of our degree programmes to be absolutely certain that they will provide you with the widest choice and the highest quality. Our newly created link with UEA means that, while your academic studies are based at our Ipswich Road campus, if you are taking one of our degrees programmes, you will graduate with a UEA degree. And our new bursary scheme means that it may cost less than you think.
We welcome people from all
walks of life and our college
campus has a friendly, welcoming
feel. Classes and tutorial groups
are kept as small as possible to
maximise the benefit to each
student, and tutors are able to
really get to know their students,
ensuring that help and support is
always readily available if
needed. And because the college
has quite a large proportion of
mature learners, it provides an
adult environment well suited to
serious study.
Part time or full-time options are available for most of our HE courses, offering a flexibility which can make it easier to balance study with your work and home life.
From September 2006 all new full time City College full time HE students receive a non means-tested, non repayable bursary. Dependent on satisfactory progression and paid in stages throughout your course, they are designed to make your life a little easier while you're studying. Please ask for our guide to HE finance for more details.
