Lowestoft College has played an important part in the education of
people in the Waveney area for over 125 years, since Victorian
gentry organised the first art and design classes in 1874. The
School of Art was joined in 1900 by the Technical School, and then
the Navigation School, to form the foundation of the broad range
of courses which the college offers today.
Studying at Lowestoft College will give you more than just qualifications. It can broaden your horizons, allow you to make new friends, develop as a person and give you greater independence.
Whatever your reasons for returning to study we are sure we have something to offer you. We offer an exciting and constantly developing range of higher education courses and particularly welcome mature students on all of our programmes.

Lowestoft College has a state-of-the-art business and management training centre. Named the Astral Centre, it serves individuals, companies and organisations throughout the East of England.
