You may be worrying about the cost of going into higher education. This guide will point you to the financial help available.
Financial support for HE can seem a bit of a minefield, with many students unsure what they are entitled to. You've probably heard that there have been recently been finance changes in higher education, too, making things seem even more complicated Here we explain the key facts about the financial help available to ensure students in Norfolk get the money they deserve to reach their full potential.
One of the first places you could look for financial advice is the HE institution where you are intending to study, where the Student Finance/Money Advisor is the best person to talk to. They will also be able to talk to you about possible additional sources of emergency funding which all HE institutions run.
There is often useful information on the university or college websites - and the institution's Student Union website may be helpful too. If you are an independent (mature) student, it is worth having a look to see if there is a Mature Students section on your chosen higher education institution's website.
Do talk to the specialist HE adviser at the Learning Shop or to the Student Finance adviser at your chosen college or university as soon as possible. They will help you work out what you are entitled to and tell you how to apply.
